Suci enjoyed the time at home. I very nearly left her there. Except it seems somehow right that she be here.
She's sleeping in a drawer right now.
She wanted to catch the squirrel. But the squirrel was very fast. And clever.
I have to go around and say hello to all the paintings.
But right now I'm doing a cross-word puzzle. All the answers are colours.

So many things to do before we go. I must say goodbye to the paintings and with them a merry Christmas. And also the ghosts. And the Giant Squid. And the House Elves in the kitchen.
And I think I should finish packing. I should probably do that before we depart rather than after.

I think your idea for an article is a good one! Do you want to write that?

I was in the mood for something sweet this evening, and went to the kitchens to bake. I'm not terribly good, but I can make a few things that my mum taught me. Like cupcakes!
I made cupcakes. I had fun with the food colouring, and then took a picture when they were done because they looked awfully pretty.
I have extras to share if anyone wants some.

I think it is particularly cute when cats sneeze.
Sneezing is a funny sort of thing, in general.
A sneeze is a sternutation and that doesn't sound as enjoyable.

It would be nice to be able to fly.
Without a broomstick. With wings, perhaps. It would be nice if there was a spell to grow wings. I'd like some. Nice feathery ones. Blue like a bluebird.
There was a pigeon sitting outside my dorm room window today. I've always found it odd. People like doves but dislike pigeons, and they are the same birds, really.
Hmmm. That seems somehow apt.

It was a very nice memorial. I think that Rylett would have liked it. Especially all of the flowers. They were very pretty and cheerful. Just like Rylett.
I will miss seeing her in the House and talking with her. And doing yoga with her.
I hope that, wherever she has gone, she is as happy as she deserves to be.
